Posted by Yes. Neem oil is on open sale in the UK and Ourons sells it every day of the week. What it is sold for is the part people get muddled about, so here is what is on our shelves and why.
Pure neem oil
Sold as a cold-pressed botanical oil for soap making, candle making, oil blends, balms and wood finishes. It sits alongside coconut, castor and shea in a soap maker’s cupboard. It is not sold as a food or a supplement.
The leaf wash
Our ready-to-use leaf spray and our water-soluble neem are sold as a leaf wash and shine for houseplants and ornamentals: a weak neem-in-water mix that lifts dust and leaves a natural sheen.
Neem cake
The pressed seed residue is sold as an organic fertiliser, as powder or pellets, for beds, pots and lawns.
